Diflucan-Fluconazole is no different from any regular medications
which have side effects of various types. The less common side
effects like: fever, chills, skin rash or itching could be noticed
or reported. The rare side effects could include dark or amber
urination, fever with sore throat, loss of appetite, pale stools,
reddening, blistering, peeling or loosening of skin and mucous
membranes, stomach pains, unusual bleeding or bruising, unusual
tiredness or weakness, yellowing of eyes and skin,
The list of various other side effects could be specified to
include: black, tarry stools, chest pain or discomfort, convulsions,
cough, lesser urine; diarrhoea; dry mouth; fainting; excessive
thirst; abnormal heartbeat; joint or muscle pain; increased
cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood; swelling on face /
eyelids / lips / tongue / throat / hands / legs / feet and sex
organs; loss of bladder control; lower back or side pain; mood
changes; muscle pain or cramps; muscle spasm or jerking of all
extremities; nausea or vomiting; numbness or itching in hands, feet,
or lips; painful or difficult urination; pale skin; red irritated
eyes; red skin lesions, often with a purple center; shortness of
breath; sore throat; sores, ulcers, or white spots in mouth or on
lips; sudden loss of consciousness.
Some more side effects may be reported that do not require medical
attention as such side effects may go away during treatment as your
body adjusts to the medicine. However, if any of the following side
effects continue or are bothersome, the doctor should immediately be
consulted: Less common like Constipation; diarrhoea; dizziness;
drowsiness; headache; nausea and vomiting.
